R. Jay Rich was born in Myrtle Beach SC in 1972. Primarily a self-taught artist, he subsequently works as a MarCom/Designer for a major company. All the while he has accumulate inspiration from his surroundings. Early in his artistic years, he has devoted the majority of his passion to drawing. With the evolution of the digital age, Rich ventured into other mediums of release. Currently he is exploring blending the two genres of realism and abstraction. Together, this form seduces reality into a sketchy undertones. He reproduces this unique perspective to show others his outlooks through various mediums. His work represents the unwonted view of his environment and influential personas.
